![]() ![]() I should have mentioned before all the replies starting coming my way (thank you all!) that I also need my solution to work with the Mac platform. ![]() I have seen several places where it report that I can accomplish this through changing a setting in Local Security Policy -> Security Options -> User Account Control: Allow UIAccess application to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop - but changing that setting did not seem to work for me. ![]() I would like to allow the user to move on to other things if they wish without requiring them to press "Allow" every few minutes for me. Right now I am testing Chrome Remote Support (a component of Chrome Remote Desktop). I want to keep UAC for obvious reasons - users can wreak havoc on computers when they have the access to do so. I often need to patch into remote computers to install software, perform updates, etc - usual functions that require UAC. I am trying to find a product or easy method that will let me temporarily disable UAC during remote support sessions. ![]()
